I've been tutoring ages 4 - 16 for over fifteen years. I've covered most subjects from preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school, including (New Jersey) state test prep (PSAT & SAT.) I was familiar with the NJASK and the HESPA, but these tests have recently been replaced by the NJPARCC, which I've had the pleasure of tutoring a group of students with just this year. Hobbies
I consider myself to be artistic, I love drawing, painting, writing, playing piano, and even composing my own music. While I do love math and science, each of the above mentioned hobbies would be considered close runner-ups. I like to stay in shape by swimming, but when it's too cold outside, I'll take my dog outside for a walk or jog. I also love to bake and cook. Such a hobby sometimes conflicts with trying to stay in shape, but I try to find an equilibrium. I'm the oldest of five children (with a fifteen year age gap between me and the youngest.) Helping with homework and studying has always been something I've been good at, before I realized it was something I enjoyed doing, it was just something I did for the sake of others benefiting (my siblings and their friends.) Now, it's something I take pride in and the repercussions of my efforts show that. If hired, results will be noted shortly there after, if not immediately.
